In partnership with Foursquare ITP, Clark works with employers and residential communities in Glenmont, Wheaton, Germantown, and other areas outside Montgomery County’s Transportation Management Districts (TMDs). While TMDs provide concentrated services in major business districts to encourage transit use and alternative commuting options, Clark helps extend that same support to non-TMD communities across the county.
Our goal is to help businesses understand sustainable commuting options and confidently implement programs that reduce drive-alone trips. We provide guidance and resources related to county services, tax incentives, carpool and vanpool options, and more—making it easier for employers and employees to explore flexible, cost-effective ways to commute.
To support outreach efforts, our design team produces high-quality communications materials—including flyers, Travel Smart Guides, presentations, and other collateral—so Outreach Coordinators have engaging tools to share with workplaces and residents throughout the county.
